St. George Island Lighthouse

St. George Lighthouse 2

St. George Island Lighthouse was reconstructed here after it fell into the gulf in 2005.
We are located at the end of the Bryan Patton bridge on St. George Island, a beautiful trip over the Apalachicola Bay.
One of the oldest lighthouses on the Florida Gulf Coast, the Cape St. George Island Lighthouse has a very interesting history. Originally constructed in the 1833 and reconstructed several times, it now stands in the center of beautiful St. George Island, Florida. This barrier island is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico & the Apalachicola Bay. The pristine white sand beach and natural beauty of the island is a perfect backdrop to our historic Lighthouse.
